Marketing Coordinator

Macro PR, a boutique public relations agency based in Manhattan, reshapes how purpose-driven organizations and companies get noticed by providing public relations and marketing solutions that are engaging, digestible and consistent.  Macro PR is hiring a Marketing Coordinator to work closely with and report directly to the Founder. The position is full-time.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is beginning his/her career in marketing or communications. Because Macro PR is a boutique agency, you will have the opportunity to take a leadership role with accounts quickly while enjoying a flexible work environment.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

-Design and implement social media recommendations and strategies for client

-Manage clients’ social media account: create and copy edit content, design ad campaigns, write content

-Draft ad copy according to client’s requirements

-Promote events on social media

-Reach out to media partners for potential promotional partnerships for clients

-Draft and oversee marketing agreements between partners and clients

-Act as a liaison between client and media partners

-Support media relations team by building media lists, conducting research and monitoring media mentions for client

-Create marketing campaigns for client and execute accordingly after approval

-Draft marketing content for clients’ email campaigns, websites and other external use

-Ensure that media and communications content are completed/published by important deadlines

 

QUALIFICATIONS

-Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field

-Previous experience working in the industry

-Able to multitask and manage several clients’ needs at the same time

-Detail-oriented

-Organized

-Exceptional writing skills (must be able to write for various audiences and purposes)
-Attentive reader: able to quickly identify tone and purpose of written content

-Ability to summarize complex information into easily digestible and concise content

-Proficient with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn) and respective business managers

-Must be resourceful

-Proficient with G-Suite features and apps

-Transition seamlessly from creative to strategic thinking

 

PREFERRED SKILLS

-Graphic design competencies

-Proficient in foreign languages

-Data analytics

-Web design competencies

 

Salary is $35,000/year. Macro PR offers up to 15 business days of paid time off, as well as paid time off on business days that fall between December 26-31. Remote work is allowed and encouraged.
